The eXceed Collection isn’t the only doujin game Nyu Media are publishing this month. They’re also releasing Cherry Tree High Comedy Club, an adventure game developed by 773 (pronounced “nanami”).

Miley Verisse, a comedy fanatic, decides to start a comedy club at her school. Unfortunately, the rules mandate that you need five members to get a club started, and Miley has until the end of Spring break to recruit more members. Cherry Tree High Comedy Club takes place in Cherry Town, and your job is to go around making friends and recruiting members for the comedy club.

In order to make friends, you need to have things to talk about with them. You can level up Miley’s repertoire of conversational topics by reading, watching TV, visiting the art gallery and other activities. Some of these activities require money, so you’ll also need a part-time job to fund them.

Cherry Tree High Comedy Club will be released on February 29th for the PC for $7.99. You’ll be able to grab it off Steam, GamersGate, GameTap, GameFly, Impulse and the Capcom Store.
