The announcement appeared alongside a new trailer for the game, which showed off various Dragon Ball series characters.

We’ve already seen quite a lot of the fighter ahead of the Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero latest reveal. Following its TGA 2023 announcement, each new video seems to highlight more fighters for the roster. Early additions included Goku and Vegeta forms, followed by staples like Piccolo and Krillin. The May 2024 trailer confirmed that fusion would be possible, and showed some new characters who can also fuse together with certain allies to create and entirely new fighter. Note that while the roster does seem to be quite large for this entry, we’ve already seen a number of announcements that confirmed there will be many different forms for certain folks from the series. (Even Master Roshi seems to have at least one alternate.)

Dragon Ball: Sparking Zero will come to the PS5, Xbox Series X, and PC worldwide, and its official release date is October 11, 2024. The official website is also live now.
