The product page also confirms the Xbox One version of Dragon Quest Builders 2 will be a complete one. In addition to the base game, people will get all additional DLC. This means you’ll get the Aquarium Pack that adds fishing and tanks, the Japan-inspired Hotto Stuff Pack, and modern day furniture in the Modernist Pack. You’ll also get some Dragon Quest-themed items and cosmetic designs like the Dragonlord’s Throne and Historic Headwear.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 is both the sequel to the original game and Dragon Quest II. Players are the builder, someone with the ability to create, craft, and build things. After a shipwreck on an island, they end up working with Malroth to fight monsters and build up their own island for survivors. It also has a multiplayer element where up to four people can gather online and visit each others’ islands to build and explore.

This is the second 2021 Xbox One port of an existing Square Enix game formerly available on other platforms. In March 2021, Octopath Traveler appeared on the Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass.

Dragon Quest Builders 2 will come to the Xbox One and Xbox Game Pass on May 3, 2021. It is available on the Nintendo Switch, PlayStation 4, and PC via Steam.
