Now that we have a December 2026 release date for Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World, Square Enix also shared details about the launch day DLC add-ons and the voice actors for characters. It also confirmed there will be over 500 monsters in this installment, with a fusion synthesis system to combine tamed ones into new characters.
When it comes to the Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World characters, we know the voice actors for the two leads, Debora, and the two Fuzzies monsters that act as the mascots and assistants for everyone. Bianca will be played by Eva Feiler, who you might also recognize as Killjoy from Valorant. Kimberley Capero is Nera. Nera’s older sister Debora is Rebecca Hansson, who we also heard as Eve in Stellar Blade and Mellore in Eiyuden Chronicle: Hundred Heroes. Bianca and Nera’s associate Fluffy is voiced by Caius Nicholas, while Debora’s sidekick Fizzy is Harriet Carmichael. Carmichael is reprising her role from Dragon Quest Monsters: The Dark Prince.
As for the Dragon Quest Monsters: The Withered World DLC, there are four add-ons that can be bought piecemeal or as one big 4-Item Set pack for $34.99. The $4.99 Scout Run VIP Card shortens usage time, makes more monsters show up when you perform a scouting session, and gives you additional Scouty Snacks. The other three packs are $9.99 each. Mega Mole Hole lets you go to dungeons with previously befriended monsters to find and recruit them again. The Metallic Ring seems to be designed to help with getting XP, since it can be used once every 30 minutes to transform enemies into Hunter Mechs and Metal Slime variants. Monster Marathons is something of a platformer minigame that earns you more gold, experience, and crafting materials.
