Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen, an expansion to Dragon’s Dogma, has a release date in North America and Europe. Dark Arisen will hit North America on April 23rd and Europe on April 26th, both at retail and as a download.

Dragon’s Dogma: Dark Arisen will allow you to import your existing characters and save data over from Dragon’s Dogma. The game takes place on Bitterblack Isle, an area which will feature 25 new enemies. Also being added to the game are new weapon and armour sets, amounting to over 100 pieces of new equipment.

Character-wise, Dark Arisen will give each character class a new tier of skills. Additionally, you’ll also get new character customization options and 14 new character/Pawn augments. Finally, you’ll have the ability to play the game with Japanese voice-overs.

If you own the original Dragon’s Dogma, you’ll get bonuses for Dark Arisen. 100,000 Rift Crystals, unlimited Ferrystones and the Gransys Armour Pack, which contains six new costumes, will be available to owners of the original game for free when they pick up Dark Arisen.
