Capcom are going to be supporting Dragon’s Dogma further with post-launch DLC, they have announced. This new DLC will be in the form of new modes and other content that will be made available in the months to come.

First off, before the end of the year, Capcom will release Speedrun and Hard modes for the game, free of charge. Speedrun will involve clearing the game as quickly as possible with in-game equipment awarded for managing specific times.

Meanwhile, Hard mode will turn up the difficulty with enemies that are tougher, but will reward players with further equipment in exchange.

Then, in 2013, Capcom will release Dragon’s Dogma Dark Arisen for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3, which Capcom say is a “major expansion to the Dragon’s Dogma universe”. They add that the title is not yet concept approved by Microsoft.
