Earth Defense Force 3 Portable for the PlayStation Vita is headed to North America, D3 Publisher have revealed. The game will be released under the title Earth Defense Force 2017 Portable.

As the title indicates, the game is a port of Earth Defense Force 2017, originally released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3.

The PlayStation Vita version of the game includes both local and online multiplayer, as well as additional content, such as extra missions and the return of the Palewing unit from Earth Defense Force 2.
