You’ve likely already heard the big news; Sony have introduced a “PSP Remasters” label under which certain PSP games will be upgraded with HD visuals for the PlayStation 3, along with new content and stereoscopic 3D support. One of the first of these titles in Japan is a port of Monster Hunter Portable 3rd.

Here’s what it looks like on the PlayStation 3:
Inside Games report that Monster Hunter Portable 3rd HD Ver. will be available this summer in Japan. A price hasn’t been announced for the game yet. Players will be able to import save data from the PSP version to the PlayStation 3 version of the game, and play online through the Adhoc Party application.
