Epic Mickey Does A Little Genre-Bending

You can either choose to defeat enemies using paint thinner and your eraser, or you can use your paint to turn them to your friends. How you play will change how characters in the game react to you. This is one of the options Warren Spector teased for Epic Mickey at Nintendo’s E3 press conference.

It’s a title, he says, that combines the best of platforming, adventure and role-playing games. Epic Mickey appears to do a little genre-bending as it switches between third-person and side-scrolling. At one point, Mickey warped back through time into what looked like one of his first black-and-white cartoon, similar to Kingdom Hearts.
