Koei Tecmo and Gust shared the latest on the upcoming Fairy Tail game with a new trailer and screenshots. We get a first look at Gildarts Clive, the Eclipse story arc, and more.

With the addition of “the strongest man in the Fairy Tail guild” Gildarts, the game now has a roster of 16 playable characters.

Check out the new trailer with English subtitles below.

Gildarts is an S-Class Mage who uses “Crush” magic that allows him to turn anything he touches into rubble. He’ll join the fight to support Natsu and the others to help swing the odds in the guild’s favor.

Players will get to put together their own dream teams with everyone from Gildarts to Erza, Gray to Gajeel. There’s also a character bonding system with friendship levels that increase the more the characters fight together in the same party.  Moreover, there are special conversations called “Bond Dialogue” that play out as friendship level increases. These include original dialogue written specifically for the Fairy Tail game.
