Fan Produces Homemade wipEout Arcade Racer…Sort Of

What happens when you have a lot of cardboard, a wireless camera, an arcade unit and a reasonably fast remote-controlled car? A real life wipEout arcade racer, that’s what!

 

Malte Jehmlich is the Frankenstein behind this awesome project, and he tried to match the feel of an actual wipEout track as closely as possible, while arranging the track in a way that made it easy to put together and take apart.

Ishaan specializes in game design/sales analysis. He's the former managing editor of Siliconera and wrote the book "The Legend of Zelda - A Complete Development History".
