Fate/Grand Order sixth anniversary

Fate/Grand Order Sixth Anniversary Banner is Live

During the sixth anniversary livestream for Fate/Grand Order, Delightworks and Aniplex announced a new limited Servant that Masters can pull for. As this is information for the Japanese server, this article will contain spoilers. Koyanskaya of Light is currently available in the Japanese version of Fate/Grand Order. After her initial appearance in December 2017, Masters finally have the chance to summon her to their Chaldea. [Thanks, Famitsu!]

Koyanskaya is a five-star Assassin. Her Noble Phantasm, Spirit Cannon: Type-79 Disaster Blasting Shrine, is a Buster card that increases her attack for one turn. It damages and decreases the NP gauge of all enemies. Koyanskaya has a fairly offensive kit, such as a skill that buffs the Buster cards of an ally. She also has a skill that allows an ally to deal extra damage to a Human enemy. Lastly, she can increase an ally’s NP gauge and decrease their skill cooldown by two turns. However, this will also cut 1000 HP from said ally. Japanese Fate/Grand Order players have until August 15 to pull for Koyanskaya.

Aside from Koyanskaya, Fate/Grand Order is undergoing a few changes for its sixth anniversary. There is a new Servant Coin system that allows you to raise a Servant’s level cap from 100 to 120. You can get Servant Coins when you summon a Servant and when you increase their bond level. Servant Coins can also unlock Append Skills that automatically activate during battle. For example, one of Tomoe Gozen’s three Append Skills passively increases how much damage she deals to Berserker enemies. While unlocking Append Skills only requires Servant Coins, you need QP and materials to level them up.

Fate/Grand Order is readily available worldwide on mobile devices. However, Koyanskaya and the Servant Coin system are currently only on the Japanese server. Other information announced during an earlier livestream includes news on the upcoming summer event, in which Masters can obtain a free version of Leonardo da Vinci. Koyanskaya will remain in the gacha until August 15, 2021, whereas the Servant Coin system will remain permanently in the game.
