During the Square Enix Tokyo Game Show 2021 presentation, Square Enix revealed the Final Fantasy 35th anniversary logo. It features the Warrior of Light as seen in the original release of Final Fantasy. While the logo was revealed, no details about potential events that will appear to celebrate the series’ anniversary were disclosed.
The Final Fantasy 35th anniversary logo features artwork by Yoshitaka Amano. Amano is credited with having created logos for the series since the Japanese release of Final Fantasy IV. Additionally, re-releases of titles like Final Fantasy, Final Fantasy II, and Final Fantasy III have received logos illustrated by Amano. You can take a look at the logo above.
While nothing has been announced ahead of the 35th anniversary of the series, Tokyo Game Show 2021 did feature major announcements for Stranger of Paradise Final Fantasy Origin. This included a new trailer and release date for the title. Koei Tecmo will develop this new action focused Final Fantasy title, with players assuming the role of Jack Garland.
Several key gameplay details have already been revealed, which included a look at gameplay and some of the classes that will appear in the game. Previously, a beta was released which allowed for players to have a first hand look at the title. Square Enix later released the results of a questionnaire concerning the game, which showed high player satisfaction.
