Square Enix announced the Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis pre-load is now live, letting people download the mobile game on devices ahead of September 7, 2023. We can immediately start installing after grabbing it from Google Play or the App Store. Apple’s storefront notes it is a 1.3GB download. The company also confirmed the official Discord is open.
The official announcement didn’t note exactly when those who download the Final Fantasy VII Ever Crisis pre-load can begin playing. The reveal only noted, “Official service will start tomorrow, September 7, PDT.” This could mean 12am PT/3am ET/9am CET/4pm JST.
Accompanying the announcement was a look at another one of the game’s wallpapers. As you play, you can change the way your home screen looks. This means animated images of different characters from the game. The newest one shows the Final Fantasy VII The First Soldier characters Glenn, Lucia, and Matt.
