Final Fantasy VIII Out On PC Via Steam Today, Has New Features

Final Fantasy VIII is available on PC via Steam today, Square Enix announced this morning. The game costs $11.99.

 

The PC version includes new features such as a Magic Booster that allows you to power up your spells, Steam cloud support, 45 achievements, and the Chocobo World minigame, which was previously unavailable to western players in the original release.

 

Square Enix say that Final Fantasy VIII has sold over 8.5 million copies worldwide to date. You can watch a trailer for the game above.
