Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is going to have new character customization options that were added to the game after Square Enix received user feedback following the game’s alpha-testing phase. Square list some of these on their devblog:
An extended hair color palette, plus a plethora of playful tattoos.
Several new hairstyles for men…
Several new hairstyles for women, including…OMG! Long hair options! And is that a SLIDER on the right for ear size!?
And a slider for height!? What else could there be a slider for!?!??
And purple whiskers!? And purple eyes!?
And OH MY GOD MY EYES THE RED IT BURNS!
Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn is slated for release this Summer. Prior to that, the game will go through a third phase of beta-testing in June.
