This version can be purchased for $29.99, rather than its regular price of $59.99. The Shadowbringers expansion can also be purchased separately for 50% off for $19.99 until January 19, 2021. PlayStation 4 users can take advantage of this offer through the PlayStation Network Store. This offer does not apply to the Starter Edition of Final Fantasy XIV, which only includes the base game.

If you’re not entirely sure if you want to make the plunge, Final Fantasy XIV does have a free trial. Players can use this free trial to play through A Realm Reborn and the Heavensward expansion. However, some features are limited while “testing” out the MMORPG.

The Final Fantasy XIV Shadowbringers 5.4 patch recently went live in December 2020 This new patch is the largest content update so far. This added a new series of raids, more housing items, armor sets, weapons, and accessories.

Final Fantasy XIV is immediately available on the PlayStation 4 and PC. The 50% off sale will last until January 19, 2021.
