Final Fantasy XIV Owners Can Temporarily Get Heavensward Expansion For Free

Square Enix has revealed people who own Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn can temporarily claim a free copy of the Heavensward expansion. If people who own the base game on the PlayStation 4 or PC can get a free digital copy of the first expansion until June 27, 2019. This is running alongside a free login campaign, which will end June 17, 2019.

 

Final Fantasy XIV: Heavensward is the first expansion for the game. Once people get it, they have the option of making an Au Ra character and taking on the Astrologian, Dark Knight, or Machinist jobs. This also introduces people to the city-state Ishgard. New locations, a new storyline, and flying mounts also appeared here.

 

Final Fantasy XIV is available for the PlayStation 4 and PC. Shadowbringers, the next expansion, will be released on July 2, 2019.
