Final Fantasy XIV Patch 2.1 Trailer Shows Off New Features

As reported in the past, patch version 2.1 for Final Fantasy XIV: A Realm Reborn will be released on December 17th, and Square Enix have shared a trailer that runs down all of the major features the patch will add to the game.

According to the game’s website, patch 2.1 will add to the Final Fantasy XIV’s main story with a scenario called “A Realm Awoken”. Additionally, a Crystal Tower labyrinth will be added to the game as well, where you will face enemies like King Behemoth and Thanatos.

Housing and beauty salons are, of course, another addition to the game that will make their debut in patch 2.1. The Wolves’ Den PVP arena will also make its debut in this patch.

We’ll have more details on patch 2.1 as they are made available.
