Square Enix revealed that the Final Fantasy XVI Ultimania guide book is now available to pre-order from the Japanese Square Enix online eStore. The guide book costs 2,970 JPY (or roughly $21), and it will release on September 7, 2023. The book will also appear in Japanese bookstores on the same date. There’s no worldwide release date yet.
The Ultimania series of Final Fantasy guide books are an in-depth collection of useful guides and detailed information about each entry in the series. The Final Fantasy XVI Ultimania guide book will include plenty of guides to solve all main story missions, side-quests, and all manner of side content, as well as crucial and exclusive information about the characters, lore, and world of Valisthea.
Ahead of launch, Square Enix released all sorts of information on the game, such as some of the Eikons and locations that will appear in the game.
Final Fantasy XVI will be available for the PlayStation 5 on June 22, 2023. The game will be exclusive to the Sony console for a six-month exclusivity period, after which there are plans to port the game to PC.
