Fire Emblem Developers Create 3DS Puzzle Platformer For Nintendo eShop

Nintendo-owned Fire Emblem developer, Intelligent Systems, are working on an original 3DS game for the Nintendo eShop. It’s titled Hiku Osu, which means to pull and push, and is slated for release on October 5th in Japan, for 700 yen.

 

Hiku Osu is about moving blocks in order to reach a goal, designated by a flag. As the title implies, you either pull or push blocks and create a path to climb them and navigate the stage until you reach the goal. Hiku Osu has over 250 courses.

Intelligent Systems also allow players to create their own stages, and tossed in tons of references to classics Nintendo games like Mario and Balloon Fight, by designing some stages shaped like characters from those games. Here’s a pig-shaped stage:
