A Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave manga adaptation will appear in Shueisha’s Saikyo Jump ahead of the launch of the game. Nintendo announced on social media that the first prologue chapter will appear in the October 2026 issue coming out on September 4, 2026. Mangaka Kazuro Kyou, who handled the Fire Emblem Engage adaptation, will be working on the title. It will also appear on Shonen Jump+, just like the previous release.
There aren’t any details yet about how the story will proceed or if it will be a fairly 1-to-1 adaptation of the events of the game. The first piece of art tied to the Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave manga shows the male version of the playable character above Sothis. At the sides, we can see other protagonists like the Heroic Games competitors Cai, Dietrich, Leda, and Theodora. Some of the other supporting cast members appear at the top at the sides of the character who will be our avatar.

We do have some idea of how this will turn out, however. Nintendo did a similar thing with Fire Emblem Engage. The manga adaptation from Kyou started a few months after that game’s March 2023 debut. It ran for about three years, and the eighth and final volume of that adaptation debuted in August 2026 in Japan. No official English localization appeared yet.
This comes alongside a lot of other news tied to Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave. A Nintendo Direct aired on August 4, 2026 that went over the Heroic Games gameplay, characters, classes, activities, and battles. It also introduced our protagonist at the end of it. A Nintendo Music app update appeared too that included some of the songs from the game’s soundtrack.
Fire Emblem: Fortune’s Weave will come to the Switch 2 on September 17, 2026.
