Fire Emblem: Three Houses Introduces the War Monk & War Cleric Classes

Fire Emblem: Three Houses War Monk and War Cleric Classes

Fire Emblem: Three Houses introduced the War Monk and War Cleric classes we’ll get to check out in the Cindered Shadows DLC.

Known for their deep faith, the War Monk/War Cleric are powerful warriors who fight with axes or their own fists. The class name varies depending on the unit’s gender.

In Fire Emblem: Three Houses the War Monk/Cleric has a unique Combat Art called “Distant Hit.” This art’s 1-2 range allows the user to hit enemies from a distance. While it does use up weapon durability, it is a magic attack, so its damage varies based on the user’s mag stats. Additionally, they can use healing magic.

In case you missed it, yesterday we got a look at the female-exclusive Dark Flier class.  Also known as “Dark Pegasus” in Japan, it has a unique ability to buffer all of its stats by +3 whenever it receives magic damage until the end of the next enemy phase.

We also got an introduction to Balthazar and Alphard (possibly Aelfric). We also learned that the DLC will include preset skills and unit types. You can read more about that here.

Fire Emblem: Three Houses is currently available for the Nintendo Switch. You can check out more details for classes coming in the Cindered Shadows DLC in our previous report.
