Square Enix’s new mobile game Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy is getting its first crossover, and it involves fellow Android and iOS title Final Fantasy Record Keeper. It will show up worldwide on May 19, 2026. However, it only involves Abilities and doesn’t add any new characters to Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy.
We do know what to expect from this event when it launches. A banner will appear with four Abilities. These will all feature art from Final Fantasy Record Keeper and be tied to that game, though we don’t know if it will be limited to Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy UR skills or if SR and R ones will show up too. There will be free tickets given away for logging and completing quests. The announcement also mentioned there will be themed icons and wallpapers for us to earn and new songs based on the other game’s soundtrack.
We still don’t know who the next new characters in Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy will be, which is odd considering it is a gacha style mobile game with both Character and Ability banners. The last two to show up were FFX’s Rikku and FFXVI’s Clive, who launched in April 2026. FFII’s Firion and FFXII’s Balthier also showed up that month. And not long after the game’s March 2026 launch, FFIII’s Onion Knight and FFXI’s Iroha appeared. This means that no new characters will join in the game’s second full month of service.
Dissidia Duellum Final Fantasy is available on Android and Apple iOS devices, and the Final Fantasy Record Keeper crossover starts on May 19, 2026. Final Fantasy Record Keeper is still running in Japan, but the global version shut down.
