Epic Games confirmed a ton of video game crossovers for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4: Override that includes Sora from Kingdom Hearts and Ren “Joker” Amamiya from Persona 5 and its Royal update. The season is expected to start on August 20, 2026. There’s a trailer showing everything, but there is no exact schedule confirming when each character might show up in the game just yet.
The official teaser image for Fortnite Chapter 7 Season 4 on social media showed all of the video game crossovers in Override and is pretty much the best way to see Sora from Kingdom Hearts, while the trailer highlighted Joker from Persona 5 and other characters in a larger capacity. From left to right, we can see the Pac-Man ghosts, Shadow the Hedgehog, Blanka from Street Fighter, Pac-Man, Crash Bandicoot, Spyro the dragon, Mega Man, Lara Croft from Tomb Raider, Ryu from Street Fighter, Joker from Persona 5, Blade from Honkai: Star Rail, Sora from Kingdom Hearts, Master Chief from Halo, Dr. Robotnik, Rush, Sonic the Hedgehog, and tetrominos from Tetris.
As for the trailer, it focuses on the video game element throughout. Initially, we see a giant, generic console and the characters Crash and Spyro. As Jonesy goes through different experiences, we see him in Green Hill Zone running alongside Sonic, passing by Joker, fighting in a Street Fighter style situation, and surrounded by Geno and Eggman.

Fortnite is available on PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Nintendo Switch, Switch 2, Windows PC, and mobile devices, and Joker Persona 5 and Sora from Kingdom Hearts will join the game as part of Chapter 7 Season 4: Override once that starts on August 20, 2026.
