Freakyforms: Your Creations, Alive! Draws Up On The Nintendo eShop Next Week

Freakyforms: Your Creations, Alive! is part of the first batch of original eShop games for the 3DS developed by Nintendo. Using the touchscreen, you create creatures called “formees” using an assortment of parts. Once you’ve created a formee, it can explore its surroundings. Maybe this old trailer can explain better:

As formees do this, they also lay eggs, which can be cracked open to find additional parts or coins that can be used to buy parts or items. Somewhere along the way, you’ll get the ability to redesign the game world itself as well.

As you explore the world, it grows in size. How your formee traverses it depends on how you designed them. Formees with wings can fly, but you can also outfit them with legs or wheels…or engines. You can share formees with other players over the net by creating a QR code of them that can be scanned with the 3DS camera.

Freakyforms: Your Creations, Alive! will be released on the eShop on November 10th for $6.99.
