Genshin Impact’s Ganyu has her first trailer now. miHoYo posted a teaser introducing the Liyue Qixing emissary. As you might expect, she’s quite knowledgeable about the city, due to working with people like Keqing and Ningguang to keep it running properly. So, for her first video, people are asked to join her on her walk.
Ganyu’s first trailer is helpful for a number of reasons. People who haven’t advanced the story and met her as part of the first chapter of the Archon Quests probably have no idea who she is. As someone who assists the seven people who run Liyue, she has quite the work ethic and knows a lot about the area. In fact, the video plays with that by ending with a request. However, Paimon doesn’t seem very enthusiastic about it.

As a reminder, Ganyu will be a five-star Cryo archer. One of her attacks seems similar to Amber’s, an existing archer, as both her Trail of the Qilin and Amber’s Explosive Puppet involve generating a temporary distraction to draw enemy fire before dealing AOE elemental damage and disappearing.
Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, Android devices, and Apple iOS devices. It will also come to the Nintendo Switch. The Genshin Impact Ganyu banner will appear after the Albedo Secretum Secretorum banner ends on January 12, 2021.
