Genshin Impact Vishaps and Where to Find Them Lets You Borrow Allies

Genshin Impact Vishaps and Where to Find Them

miHoYo posted details about the upcoming Genshin Impact Vishaps and Where to Find Them event, and it won’t require much direct effort. Rather, this is an Adventurer’s Guild expedition event. People can take four per day and send some of their characters. It turns out you’ll also be able to borrow a character someone you have listed as a friend owns too. It begins on March 5, 2021.

The announcement went over the basics of the event. Like a normal expedition, you visit Katheryne in Mondstadt or Liyue to kick things off. She will have one S-rank, two A-rank, and five B-rank commissions, and you can send characters out on up to four of them. These will act similarly to standard expeditions, so you can’t double-book characters. Going to your profile and putting people in the  Character Showcase will also help prepare people for the Genshin Impact Vishaps and Where to Find Them event.

That’s because that is how “Katheryne” will pull possible allies for people to use for the expeditions. If people added to your in-game friend list have people in their profile’s Character Showcase, you can use them. Since you can take four expeditions each day, you could call upon four characters from friends to assist on each one.

Genshin Impact is available for the PlayStation 4, PC, and mobile devices. The Nintendo Switch version is in the works. Genshin Impact Vishaps and Where to Find Them will run March 5-12, 2021, with Hero’s Wit, Mora, Mystic Enhancement Ore, and Primogems able to be claimed until March 15, 2021. The Hu Tao banner is also available now.
