This morning, Nintendo of America announced a Wii U hardware bundle for Mario Kart 8. The bundle will contain a Wii U Deluxe system, the game, a red Mario Wheel accessory and a red Wii Remote Plus controller. It will cost $329.99.

Additionally, in both North America and Europe, Nintendo have announced a special promotion for Mario Kart 8 that gets you a free digital game for buying the title and registering it with Club Nintendo.

 

If you buy Mario Kart 8 and register the game with Club Nintendo before July 31st, you’ll receive a free Nintendo eShop code for one of the following Wii U games:

 

North America: New Super Mario Bros. U, Pikmin 3, New The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD or Wii U Party

 

Europe: New Super Mario Bros. U, Pikmin 3, New The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker HD, Wii U Party, Sonic Lost World, Game & Wario, The Wonderful 101, Mario & Sonic at the 2014 Sochi Winter Olympics or Monster Hunter 3 Ultimate

 

The promotion applies to copies of Mario Kart 8 purchased both at retail or via the Nintendo eShop.
