The announcement came with details about what to expect from the PC version of God of War. Sony noted it will support NVIDIA Deep Learning Super Sampling (DLSS) and NVIDIA Reflex. It will play in 4K. There will also be multiple graphical options. Among the features will be GTAO and SSDO support. People will also be able to go with presets, if they’d rather not mess with details.
There will also be support for different sorts of displays and controllers. Should someone own a 21:9 monitor, it will support that. Controller and keyboard and mouse support will be present. People can customize inputs. Should a person have a PS4 DualShock 4 or PS5 DualSense, those can also be used.
People will also get some DLC with the game. While four items are Shield cosmetics, there will also be armor.
- Buckler of the Forge Shield Skin
- Death’s Vow Armor for Kratos and Atreus
- Dokkenshieldr Shield Skin
- Exile’s Guardian Shield Skin
- Shining Elven Soul Shield Skin
God of War is available on the PS4. It also is playable on the PS5, complete with 2160p support. The PC version of God of War will appear on Steam on January 14, 2022.
