The time has come for people to once again step into James Bond’s shoes. Nintendo announced that the Nintendo 64 classic GoldenEye 007 will join Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack on January 27, 2023. That same day, it will also appear on Xbox Game Pass for the Xbox One. There’s also a new trailer to mark the occasion. Nintendo first promised it, as well as Pokemon Stadium, was on the way back in September 2022.
Here’s the new GoldenEye 007 Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack trailer. As the video points out, online multiplayer is possible. However, everyone taking part must also be a Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack subscriber.

As a reminder, we’ve seen this James Bond game reappear multiple times. In 2010, a reimagined remake headed to the DS, PS3, Xbox 360, and Wii.
GoldenEye 007 is available on the Nintendo 64, and it will be available for Switch owners via the Nintendo Switch Online Expansion Pack and Xbox Game Pass subscribers on January 27, 2023. The Expansion Pack subscription, which offers the ability to play online and access to NES, SNES, N64, and Genesis games, is $49.99 per year.
