Studio Gonzo have produced a four-episode promotional anime series based on Crackdown 2 — or Riot Act 2, as it is known in Japan — which, starting earlier this week, is going to be released one episode per-week via the Japanese Xbox Live Marketplace. The series will also be available for viewing on the official Riot Act 2 website.
Like the game, the anime will centre around a single Agent, and his war against the gangs of Pacific City. The catch, however, is that Gonzo’s series is supposed to be comedic in nature. There’s been no word yet as to whether or not Microsoft plan to localize the series for overseas markets.
