Grand Theft Auto V has a delayed release date—Rockstar have announced that they’ll be releasing the game on September 17th, 2013 in North America.

“We know this is about four months later than originally planned and we know that this short delay will come as a disappointment to many of you, but, trust us, it will be worth the extra time,” Rockstar say in a message to fans.

GTAV is a massively ambitious and complex game and it simply needs a little more polish to be of the standard we and, more importantly, you require.”

Grand Theft Auto V will be released for the Xbox 360 and PlayStation 3. It will be set in the fictional city of Los Santos and will feature three playable protagonists.
