Front Wing’s Grisaia no Kajitsu visual novel is being localized into English and published by Sekai Project, the publisher announced today. Sekai Project are coordinating efforts between Front Wing and the game’s’ translation team.

Grisaisa no Kajitsu is the first game in the Grisaia series, and was released in 2011 for PC. It takes place at an isolated institute called the Mihara Academy, which is home to just five female students. Each of the five has their own reasons for attending the academy, and you play as protagonist Kazami Yuuji who interacts with them all.

One student is described as one “that should never have been born”. Another “bears the sin of rebelling”. A third is “alive but dead”. The fourth is one that “no one will protect.” Finally, the fifth student is “one that carries the burden of surviving”.
