There are 40 Critters to catch across the different biomes in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. Some are easy to find, while some only appear under certain conditions. Here are all the Critter locations, as well as the Critter Lists they all belong to.
Every Critter and location in Hello Kitty Island Adventure
There are five Critter Lists in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. These are:
- Seaside Critter List
- Bog Critter List
- Reef Critter List
- Gemstone Critter List
- Volcano Critter List
Seaside Critter List (Seaside Resort)
There are seven Critters in the Seaside Resort in Hello Kitty Island Adventure:
- Blue Berryfly: South of Chococat’s tent during the day.
- Castle Crab: On the beach south of Hello Kitty’s café. Appears from daytime to evening.
- Dragondarter: Atop the cliffs behind Hello Kitty’s café. A rare spawn at any time of day.
- Dunebug: On Hopscotch Islands at any time of day.
- Honey Bandit: At the top of the cliffs behind Tuxedosam’s shop. Appears from daytime to evening.
- Scruffy Shortleg: Inside the Seaside Resort puzzle rooms in the evening and at nighttime.
- Sunslime: On the beach south of Hello Kitty’s café. Appears at any time of day.
Bog Critter List (Spooky Swamp)
There are seven Critters to catch as part of the Bog Critter List in Spooky Swamp:
- Bush Friend: In the Hedge Maze in the evening and at nighttime.
- Grassy Glowbuddy: Flying around the Ghost Tour Ride at any time of day.
- Orchid Glowbuddy: Flying around the Ghost Tour Ride at any time of day.
- Lily Frog: On lilypads by the Nature Preserve at any time of day.
- Phantom Flutterby: By the graveyard near the Hedge Maze in the evening and at nighttime.
- Pumpkin Spiceler: North of the hedge maze. Appears from daytime to evening.
- Swampy Snapper: On the beach to the west of Spooky Swamp. Only appears at nighttime.
Reef Critter List (Rainbow Reef)
You’ll find eight Critters in the Rainbow Reef. Note that you need the Snorkel to be able to dive down and the Bubble Wand to catch them:
- Barnabeetle: South of Mount Hothead. Appears during the day.
- Crustocean: North of the Comedy Club during the day.
- Dreamshell Drifter: In the Kelp Maze during the day.
- Inky Ballooper: By the Sunken Ship at nighttime.
- Rainbow Ribbiter: In the ravine northeast of Hopscotch Islands and in the ravine north of the Kelp Maze. Appears at nighttime and in the morning.
- Sapphire Seapony: Outside the Comedy Club at any time of day.
- Slugnautica: Around the stone archway northeast of Hopscotch Islands. Appears at nighttime and in the morning.
- Wollypog: A rare spawn in the Kelp Maze during the day.
Gemstone Critter List (Gemstone Mountain)
10 Critters can be found roaming around on Gemstone Mountain in Hello Kitty Island Adventure:
- Acactnid: A rare spawn southwest of Gemstone Town by the broken stairs. Appears in the morning.
- Frondhawk: By the Oasis left of Pompompurin’s Dessert Boat. Appears at any time of day.
- Rockadoodler: In Gemstone Town during the day.
- Rosy Duster: Southwest of the Icy Peak mailbox during the day.
- Scarlet Scuttler: On the beach southeast of Gemstone Mountain during the day.
- Stony Slugler: In Gemstone Mines during the day.
- Sunset Scooter: On the beach south of Gemstone Mountain during the day.
- Tumblebug: East of Gemstone Town during the day. They’re fast, so be quick!
- Twinklebug: In Gemstone Mines at nighttime.
- Woolox: A rare spawn at the top of Icy Peak in the morning.
Volcano Critter List (Mount Hothead)
There are eight Critters in the Mount Hothead Volcano Critter List in Hello Kitty Island Adventure:
- Eruptoad: By the Caldera mailbox in the morning.
- Fumefly: South of the Hot Springs during the day.
- Grubble: At the Hot Springs during the day.
- Geyser Grub: On the beach south of the Mount Hothead mailbox during the day.
- Lady Bean: Outside the ruins in the middle of Mount Hothead during the day.
- Magmiter: Inside Mount Hothead (go through the Caldera entrance) at any time of day.
- Stampeedle: Inside Mount Hothead in the south in the morning.
- Tigersnoot: By the Mount Hothead mailbox during the day.
