How do I access World 9 in Honkai: Star Rail Simulated Universe?

Like all other Simulated Universe World challenges, you can access it in Herta Space Station. In order to unlock it, you’ll need to first complete Simulated Universe World 8. After you do so, you should be able to access it.

What rewards does World 9 offer?

Beating World 9 will grant two Planar Ornament Sets: Sigonia, the Unclaimed Desolation, and Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm. The Signonia Set increases the user’s Crit Rate and every time they defeat an enemy, they can get a Crit DMG increase, which stacks. Due to this, you should put it on characters who have powerful AoE attacks that you would naturally use in situations with lots of enemies. Erudition characters in particular can benefit from this.

As for Izumo Gensei and Takama Divine Realm, it increases the user’s ATK, as well as their Crit Rate if at least one ally is of their path. Acheron in particular can take advantage of this due to her kit encouraging her being on the same team as another Nihility character. Other characters would include Blade (who works well with Jingliu) or Topaz.

What enemies will I encounter in World 9 of Honkai: Star Rail?

In Simulated Universe World 9, you’ll see Ice Out of Space, Memory Zone Meme “Shell of Faded Rage,” Dreamjolt Troupe’s Beyond Overcooked, Dreamjolt Troupe’s Sweet Gorilla, Senior Staff: Team Leader (Bug), and Abundance Sprite: Malefic Ape (Bug). The Bug versions of major enemies that appeared in previous Worlds fight in virtually the same way, except with stat boosts.

At the end of it, you’ll need to face The Memory Zone Meme “Something Unto Death.” This was a major story enemy from the Version 2.0 update and, like the above Bug enemies, it fights just like what you encountered in the plot. It’s weak to Fire, Wind, and Imaginary. Its main gimmick revolves around taking your allies from you with Watery Dissolution. In order to free them, you’ll need to target them with attacks or DoT. It’s similar to the Petrification status in Final Fantasy in that if it takes your entire party from you with Watery Dissolution, you’ll instantly lose the battle.

The best way to defeat it is to inflict Weakness Break when it’s about to use Watery Dissolution. You can tell this is going to happen soon because it will enter either the Sunset or Nightfall state. If it does manage to take your allies, just attack them to free them. The most efficient way of doing this is to use characters that are Erudition, Nihility, or Destruction. This is because they can hit multiple enemies at once, allowing you to free your allies (if they’re taken) while still attacking Something Unto Death.
