Here’s the Exact Height You’ll Need for Lady Dimitrescu Cosplay

Resident Evil Village tall woman Lady Dimitrescu cosplay

There’s good news for people who might prepare a Lady Dimitrescu cosplay. You won’t have to try and gauge her height based on doorways and furniture. Capcom revealed exactly how tall she is. Resident Evil Village Art Director Tomonori Takano says she’s 9’ 6” tall. Takano’s message also confirms she is a vampire.

Since the January 2021 Resident Evil Showcase announcement, Lady Dimitrescu developed quite the audience. Capcom even shared a free PSN avatar of her. Originally referred to as the “tall woman” or “vampire lady,” we latter learned Ethan is trapped in her castle with her and her daughters.

Here’s Takano’s full statement regarding her height. As anyone working on a Lady Dimitrescu cosplay outfit may want to note, she’s slightly shorter without the hat and heels. So if you go with flats, it might be okay if you’re only around 9’4”.

Hi everyone, I’m Tomonori Takano, Art Director on Resident Evil Village. I wanted to use this opportunity to publicly reflect on the outpouring of positivity we’ve received from the fans on our latest announcement. As a representative of the development team, thank you to all the fans who continue to follow us.

Most recently, Lady Dimitrescu and her daughters have received a fair amount of attention, far more than we anticipated. It’s great that they’re able to take the spotlight as icons of Resident Evil Village. Lady Dimitrescu, especially, has received much fanfare both domestically and overseas, which has made all of us in the development team extremely happy. I hear her height is something of interest…

If you include her hat and high heels, she’s 2.9m (approximately 9’6”) tall.

These bewitching, vampiric characters are relentless in their pursuit of Ethan, and I can’t wait for you to meet them yourselves when you enter Castle Dimitrescu in May.

Resident Evil Village PS4, PS5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, and PC copies will appear on May 7, 2021. The Maiden PS5 demo is available now.
