Prope recently revealed Let’s Tap, a creative Wii game that penguins really can play since you don’t even need to hold the remote. Sega USA hasn’t announced they’re going to bring it over, but when I first saw Let’s Tap it appeared to be the kind of game Sega would publish. They also trademarked the name Let’s Tap in the US Patent and Trademark database so I would say chances are more than good Let’s Tap will get an international release after it makes a debut in Japan this December.
This brings me to Let’s Catch, another Sega trademark registered on the same day as Let’s Tap. It’s for use with video games and computer software so it’s a game. Perhaps, a second game from Prope? We haven’t heard anything about it yet. I don’t think Yuji Naka is going to have us throwing remotes, but after seeing Let’s Tap’s unorthodox control scheme anything is possible. Even more interesting is seeing Sega use the “Let’s” something branding again. It sounds like Sega is already planning a new “Let’s” series.
