The Hitman games have been going on for a long time, and detail the operations of an assassin named Agent 47. In order to take out a major target, players must guide Agent 47 to plan out an entire operation, including how to enter unnoticed, the method of killing, and escape route. While the Hitman franchise has released various titles, the two games and upcoming third numbered title make up what is called the World of Assassination Trilogy.

In particular, Hitman 3 details Agent 47 taking some time off his retirement in order to pull off his biggest contract yet, which will become his legacy. Agent 47 will be able to visit six different spots in the game at launch, including the tallest tower in Dubai, and he can even scale the tower himself. The game also offers import options to import data from the past two games, and play past missions with the new tools available in the third game.

Hitman 3 is currently in development and will appear on the PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, Xbox One, Xbox Series X, Google Stadia, and PC in January 2021. Hitman 1 & 2 will release on Google Stadia in September 2020.
