Hololive Vtuber Akai Haato will resume posting to her social media account, according to an announcement on X from her manager. She will make posts and like other people’s posts, but she will not reply or retweet anything until the end of 2027.

The statement is available on the performer’s official social media account. It also asked people not to worry if Akai Haato does not react to a reply. This is something that they decided on for her health management. At the end of the tweet, the manager stated that Cover will continue working with and supporting Akai Haato, and so they hope that people will be encouraging. The top replies to the post are indeed positive ones.

Hololive Vtuber Akai Haato has been on hiatus from streaming and social media since October 2025. She is using the break to recover from “her current mental state.” She has not been completely absent from the VTuber sphere, though. In 2026, she posted an original song and music video. She also released several YouTube videos and shorts throughout her hiatus.

Haato first debuted back in 2018. Her generation mates include Natsuiro Matsuri and Shirakami Fubuki. As of the time of writing, she has 1.59 million subscribers on YouTube. Her most recent pre-recorded video debuted on November 4, 2026. The thumbnail showed her cutting through pasta.

Here’s that stream:

More information on when Akai Haato will resume streaming will appear on her social media account later this year.
