Here’s the official announcement.

For those unaware, V-Saikyo refers to the Apex Legends Vtuber Most Cooperative Tournament. This is the fifth installment of the Japanese competition, which only involves Vtubers. It will be held on April 15, 2023. Axel Syrios is not only the sole team leader from outside Japan who is part of an English branch of a company. His team including Nijisanji’s Selen and Hololive’s Regis is the only one with any English branch members.

The captains for the 2023 V-Saikyo tournament are:

  • Astel Leda
  • Axel Syrios
  • Hanabusa Lisa
  • Honma Himawari
  • Ichinose Uruha
  • Kaga Sumire
  • Kurumi Noah
  • Natsuiro Matsuri
  • Nekota Tsuna
  • Pakael
  • Shinomiya Runa
  • Shirayuki Reid
  • Shishigami Leona
  • Tachibana Hinano
  • Virtual Gorilla

As a note, it isn’t unusual for Vtubers from different companies to play together on the same team for the V-Saikyo Apex Legends tournament. For example, Hololive Vtuber Natsuiro Matsuri’s team includes Hololive’s Elu and Virtual eSports Project’s Aizawa Ema.
