HoYoVerse teased what we can expect from the 4.4 Honkai: Star Rail update by teasing the character and light cone quick level up additions, the faster Relic enhancement, and means of collecting all Achievement rewards with a single click. These will make it easier to get bonuses or build up units in-game. It also shared a new Honkai: Star Rail animated short focused on Himiko.
The Quick Level Up character and light cone option in Honkai: Star Rail is something a player will need to toggle on. If they do, then it will automatically let you get the unit or piece of equipment to the highest possible level with the materials you have on-hand. So if it would be possible to get a level 1 character to 80, you could immediately. With the Relic enhancement update, that will apparently make it easier to switch between them for enhancing and rerolling. On the Achievements page, there will be a Claim All Rewards button that will let you get all of them at once instead of forcing you to go into each individual section.
As for the Honkai: Star Rail Himiko animated short, it is called “Your Ending, My Beginning.” If you haven’t been keeping up with the 4.0 Planarcadia storyline, there will be many spoilers for it. It also continues the story from the “To the Onlooker” trailer.
Honkai: Star Rail is available for the PS5, PC, and mobile devices, and the 4.4 update arrives on July 15, 2026.
