HoYoVerse uploaded a new trailer for Yanqing, as he will appear in Honkai: Star Rail. Not only does the short video show off his personality, but you can also check out the animations for his Skill and Ultimate. Yanqing will be an Ice character, and his Path will be The Hunt.

Despite his appearance as an old man in Honkai Impact 3rd, he is a young one in Star Rail. (In Honkai Impact 3rd, he goes by Ma Feima.) The trailer shows off his ability to produce multiple blades of ice, as well as the acrobatics he can pull off with them. He also speaks of his obsession with swords and training in the voiceover. Previously, HoYoVerse released his moveset. His moves such as Drakestoning Edge and Swallow’s Pluvious Pursuit appear in the trailer as well.
In English, Amber May voices Yanqing. May previously voiced Dehya in Genshin Impact and Barbie in Barbie: Big City, Big Dreams. In Japanese, Marina Inoue voices him. Inoue’s other roles include Armin in Attack on Titan and Yoko in Gurren Lagann.
Honkai: Star Rail is in development for Windows PCs and mobile devices. The final closed beta started on February 10, 2023.
