How Do You Like Samus’ Voice In Metroid: Other M?

Gametrailers managed to capture some cam footage of Metroid: Other M at Comic-Con, which finally gives you a decent idea of what Samus sounds like in the game. While the results aren’t terrible, she does sound oddly…young. This shouldn’t really come as a surprise, considering producer Yoshio Sakamoto in Japan picked the voice actress for the role, and not Nintendo’s overseas localization team.

The difference is especially striking when you compare it to this silent footage from E3 2010, which comes off sounding much, much cooler and closer to what one would expect from a story-focused Metroid.
