How Sleeping Dogs’ Live Action Announcement Trailer Was Created

You may recall the above live-action trailer for Sleeping Dogs, a game set in Hong Kong, involving triad infiltration. While it contains no in-game footage, it was used to re-announce the game under Square Enix London Studios’ new supervision, after the title was cancelled by Activision.

The trailer was shot by a company named Goldtooth Creative, and developer, United Front Games, have put up a behind-the-scenes look at how it was created, which you may find interesting to watch. Take a look at it below:

Sleeping Dogs will be released this August. We published a series of interviews with the game’s developer this past week, covering various topics such as how open the game is, what its combat system is like, and how United Front researched Hong Kong and the triads to develop the title. You can read the interview series here.
