How to Complete the Security Exhibition in Two Point Museum

Security Exhibition is the first stage in Two Point Museum, where the curator does not directly advise you on how to fulfil the objective. Your goal in this stage is to protect all 26 exhibits from being stolen while ensuring you receive a certain amount of donations across 182 in-game days.

There are a few tricks that you can implement to help you complete this stage, but you may not be aware of them if you haven’t played the previous instalments in the franchise, so we’ll tell you step by step how we completed the level.

How Do I Complete the Security Exhibition in Two Point Museum?

The Security Exhibition stage will be scored by the amount of donations you receive. Thankfully, you only need to get a bronze trophy to proceed with the campaign. Here are the individual scores for each trophy:

  • Bronze Trophy: $7,500
  • Silver Trophy – $18,000
  • Gold Trophy – $22,500

The moment you start the stage, you will want to pause the gameplay immediately. This will allow you to prepare for the robbers infiltrating the museum without any time constraints. The first thing you’ll want to do is get a loan, as the amount of money you start with will not be enough to cover the expenses. To take out a loan, head to the tab at the bottom of the screen, and click on management, and then finances. On the new tab you’re directed to, go to loans and take out the “Smell My Cash” loan.

Although you don’t have to, we suggest creating a camera room and placing cameras within range of the exhibits. If robbers walk in the line of sight of the cameras, a prompt will appear on the screen telling you a robber is in the museum, which will make things much easier. However, make sure to hire a security guard with camera skills to monitor the room if you are doing this.

To succeed in this stage, you’ll have to hire several security guards. From the get-go, hire all the security guards you can. We also suggest hiring three janitors, who will hopefully prevent trash from reaching the floor. If you’re trying to get the silver or gold trophy, ensure all your exhibits have the maximum amount of buzz possible. This will encourage guests to donate higher amounts of money. It’s worth mentioning that Unihornus Skeleton and Sharpontops Skeleton are incomplete exhibits, so you cannot maximize their buzz. In our successful run of getting the gold trophy, we created a workshop room and made a few interactive displays to raise the buzz.

Now you’ve done all the preparation for the stage, it’s time to play it out. On the right-hand side of the screen, you will see the number of exhibits you currently have in the museum. You will want to ensure that the number keeps to 26 exhibits. Start playing the Security Exhibition stage, but have it at the slowest gameplay speed. While playing the stage, keep hiring security guards, as this is how you’ll catch the robbers. By the time we finished our first run, we had 18 security guards.

Keep an eye on the 26 exhibit number, and the moment it lowers, immediately pause the gameplay to find the culprit. A good way of finding the exhibit that has been stolen is to look for the symbol with a beanie. If you are quick enough, you should find the culprit before they escape with the exhibit. Drop a security guard right by the robber, and he will capture him and return the exhibit to its rightful place. If you keep repeating this cycle, you will earn enough donations to finish the level. Getting a silver or gold trophy might take a few attempts. We got it on our fourth try, so don’t worry if you don’t get it immediately.

Two Point Museum is now available on PS5, PC and Xbox Series X/S.
