How to Get Fwish Furniture in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Hello Kitty Island Adventure features the life-sim staple of decorating your very own home with plenty of furniture options to choose from. Every piece of furniture in Island Adventure is categorized by style. Certain sets can only be obtained via unique features, such as Big Challenges’ furniture rewards for befriending him! Among them is the Fwish Furniture, an aquatic themed collection for aficionados (afishionados, if you will.) The Fwish set isn’t too difficult to obtain, but the only way to do so is easy to miss. Here’s a quick guide on how to get Fwish furniture in Hello Kitty Island Adventure, and the best way to go about collecting it.

How to Get Fwish Furniture in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

The only way of getting Fwish furniture of any kind in Hello Kitty Island Adventure is through the Fwishing Well. The Fwishing Well is first encountered in the Spooky Swamp biome of the island. It’s directly below the Spooky Swamp fast travel point- but its features are locked behind a “The Right Tools” quest. The quest, “When You Fwish Upon a Fish,” becomes available after reaching Friendship Level eight with Hangyodon. It can only be started after the player has helped restore the comedy club, and acquired the fishing rod. If you haven’t done so, you should learn How to Unlock Fishing in Hello Kitty Island Adventure. The comedy club quest, “Comic Relief,” is available after raising your Friendship Level with Hangyodon to six. In other words, focus on raising your friendship with Hangyodon, and you’ll eventually have everything you need to start the Fwishing Well quest!

The quest itself is fairly straightforward. Chat up Hangyodon, who will be standing in front of the Fwishing Well if the quest is active. Together, the two of you will go and speak to Badtz-Maru about the well. Hangyodon will then ask you to collect five fish and return to the Fwishing Well. To save time, catch a total of six fish if you don’t already have any, then speak to Hangyodon. Afterwards, interact with the Fwishing Well and donate five fish. You’ll be rewarded a piece of Fwish furniture! Hangyodon will then ask you to give him a fish. Giving him the fish completes the quest, and allows you to use the Fwishing Well to your heart’s content! Keep in mind that the quest requires you to catch five fish regardless if you already have enough fish in your inventory to complete the donation part.

How to Use the Fwishing Well in Hello Kitty Island Adventure

Getting Fwish furniture from the Fwishing Well is a straightforward process, but not guaranteed. The Fwishing Well will give you an item after receiving donations, but this list of potential items include mundane materials like Chocolate Coins and Sticks. The odds of the well dropping Fwish furniture depends on various factors. Generally speaking, the well is more likely to reward Fwish furniture the more fish you donate to it. Eventually, the well will reward you with a piece of the Fwish set.

Though not confirmed, the rarity of fish donated to the well is said to make a big difference to the rate Fwish furniture is received. The piece of Fwish furniture you get is completely random, with rarer parts of the set less likely to drop. But by donating more uncommon and rare fish, your odds of getting a rarer part of the Fwish set dramatically increase. Therefore, although the only barrier for getting more Fwish furniture is the rate at which you can collect fish, the process of collecting every piece in the set may take longer depending on your luck. The best way to go about collecting furniture from the Fwishing Well is to start with the more common pieces in the set. Aim to collect about ten common fish (common items possess a green background in your inventory) per donation to the well. Continue to donate in ten fish chunks, saving any rare or uncommon fish you manage to collect for later. Once you’ve collected the non-rare items from the list, upgrade your donations to uncommon and rare fish instead. Ideally, you’ll receive some of the rare items while farming the common ones!
