Where can I find the On the Fall of an Aeon Light Cone in Honkai: Star Rail?

To get On the Fall of an Aeon in Honkai: Star Rail, you need to first access Herta’s Shop. You can do so by going to Herta Space Station and opening up the Simulated Universe menu. For 8 Herta Bonds, you can get one copy of On the Fall of an Aeon. There is only one copy in Herta’s Shop, which means that if you want to Superimpose it, you’ll need to get the Superimposer. The Superimposer is also in Herta’s Shop, and those cost 2 Herta Bonds each.

As for Herta Bonds, you can get a Herta Bond every week if you have a score of 11200 from Simulated Universe. This is the only method thus far to reliably get Herta Bonds in the game. You can also get it as a first-time clear reward from Simulated Universe levels.

What does it do and who is it good for?

On the Fall of an Aeon’s effect is as follows:

“Whenever the wearer attacks, their ATK is increased by 8% in this battle. This effect can stack up to 4 times. After a character inflicts Weakness Break on an enemy, the wearer’s DMG increases by 12% for 2 turns.”

The above effect is at Superimposition 1. This is a really good generic Destruction Light Cone because of its ATK and DMG boosts. Even if you can’t always Weakness Break an enemy, the ATK bonus and the stats make it an excellent Light Cone to put on your Destruction unit. Technically speaking, it can go on anyone. But here are the characters who benefit the most from On the Fall of an Aeon in Honkai: Star Rail:

  • Arlan
  • Clara
  • Hook
  • Trailblazer (Physical)
  • Xueyi

Other Destruction characters like Jingliu and Dan Heng Imbibitor Lunae can also use On the Fall of an Aeon. However, characters like Hook and Arlan might need the extra help a 5-star stat stick offers if they want to catch up to newer and more premium options. On the Fall of an Aeon is a really good match for Xueyi in particular due to her kit focusing on Breaking enemies.

Blade is the only outlier, since his scaling prioritizes his Max HP way more. However, if you don’t have any HP-based Light Cones to give him, like his signature of A Secret Vow, you can give him On the Fall of an Aeon. Not only does it have good stats, but he can also take advantage of the DMG boost after breaking an enemy.

Honkai: Star Rail is readily available on the PS5, Windows PC, and mobile devices.
