How to get the You’re My Friend Now Achievement in WoW: The War Within

One of the requirements for the Going Goblin Mode achievement is for you to find and ‘befriend’ several rats around Undermine. It’s vague, and the rodents are a little hidden, so here’s how to find them to earn the You’re My Friend Now Achievement in World of Warcraft: The War Within.

All Grabbable Rat Locations in Undermine

There are 5 Grabbable Rats in total around Undermine, each of which can be clicked on to gain the Grabbed Rat buff. The buff perches them on your shoulder for 10 minutes, but more importantly for our purposes it counts as ‘befriending’ them for the achievement. Below you can find a map of each of their locations, followed by instructions and screenshots of where they’re hiding.

• Grabbable Rat 1 is found near the entrance to Undermine, in the building just behind the teleporter to Dornogal. Head up to the second floor and the rat will be perched on some bins in front of one of the sets of stairs.
• The 2nd Grabbable Rat is found down in the Vatworks, in a building next to a large crowd queueing up at some barbecue grills. Head just inside and look to the stairs downwards, the rat should be on the right-most railing.
• Grabbable Rat number 3 is in the Venture-controlled Heaps, down in an area just before it gives way to the golf course. There will be several caves dug into the ground, but you want to find the one with a goblin stood outside called Fredward “Junkman” Gunch. Go into his grotto and find the rat on a little bed of trash.
• The 4th Grabbable Rat is in front of the Gallagio, the large purple building that overlooks Undermine and serves as Gallywix’s seat of power. Head to the sheltered entrance area with several arrangements of fake trees and plants, and the rat will be hiding in the north-east “flowerbed”.
• The 5th and final Grabbable Rat for the You’re my Friend Now achievement in WoW is located up in the Demolition Dome, right at the north of the map. Head to the entrance but take the left-hand path through the seating until you get to the area after one with a bar and several bean-bag chairs. The rat should be fairly obvious on one of the dumpsters.
