How to get Tuning Stones for your Seneschal in Diablo 4 Season 3

The Seneschal brings back Followers but with an interesting twist! More customization options are available for this strange little construct, which includes the use of Tuning Stones. Players will obtain their Seneschal by going through the Season 3 – Season of the Construct storyline. You can read about how to start the seasonal story here.

Going through the story will unlock the Seneschal as well, so if you haven’t obtained the construct, just continue the story and learn more about the illustrious Zoltan Kulle to obtain it. Once you have, a second series of quests will begin. This will allow you to pick up the necessary tools to begin fiddling around with your Seneschal.

There are some prerequisites, however, to obtaining Tuning Stones for your Seneschal which we have listed below:

  • 220 Shattered Stones
  • 24 Iron Chunks
  • Character Level 20

This is because you will need to be able to craft Gems to unlock the ability to craft Uncertain Seneschal Stone Caches. These will drop random Tuning Stones but will cost 220 Shattered Stones and 24 Iron Chunks. Shattered Stones are dropped by Construct enemies found on the overworld map, and by interacting with Obelisks. Iron Chunks are obtained by breaking down gear at the Blacksmith.

You can craft Tuning Stones in The Gateway, which is also unlocked by seasonal story progression. You can also obtain Tuning Stones by completing World Events and engaging with Season of the Construct Events on the map. These are designated by a teal leaf icon tacked onto a specific UI marker. You can take a look at an example below. Once you have unlocked the ability to craft Tuning Stones they will then appear as loot.
